A metropolitan magistrate, who had issued an arrest warrant against deceased Rizwanur Rehman’s industrialist father-in-law Ashoke Todi, has claimed of having received a threat letter warning him. The letter was written in English to the seventh magistrate Bibhas Chatterjee, asked him to step down or would have to pay for the judgement that was issued earlier. As soon as he received the letter he Apprised this matter to another magistrate who immediately informed the police. At once police rushed in and the security level has been increased for him. ” We have received a complaint from the metropolitan magistrate and have ensured his security.
