German Businessman Died in Mumbai Attack-Missed Call Story

The wife of a German businessman who fell from a window at the Taj hotel during a terrorist attack says she missed a phone call from him the night he died. Claudia Burkei says she exchanged text messages with her husband Ralph Burkei on Thursday and learnt he survived in his room. After knowing this she was sound asleep But the tragedy rocked in after some hours. she was told by Ralph Burkei’s business partner that he had died and saw she’d missed a call from him. He was 51 and the former vice president of the 1860 Munich football club.

President George Bush Sends Condoleezza Rice to India

President George Bush has asked the Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to travel to India this Wednesday, After the mumbai terror attack which killed 200 people and23 Americans among them. Secretary Rice will depart tonight on already scheduled travel to London. She will attend the NATO meeting on Tuesday and then proceed to India arriving in New Delhi on Wednesday. Her visit is to show India the Unity against terror. Her visit is followed by Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon’s two-day scheduled visit to Washington.
