The marathon U.S. Presidential election came to a close on Tuesday with Democrat Barack Obama favoured to defeat Republican John McCain and make history as the first Africian-American President of White House. Obama won in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Vermont and the District of Columbia, while McCain Won Oklahoma and Kentucky.
