ATS chief Hemant Karkare, who was killed while leading an attack on terrorists in Mumbai on Wednesday, was brought to his home in Shivaji Park in central Mumbai ahead of the funeral. He was 58 and arrested most of the suspects and the culprits who was involved in the Malegaon bomb blast. He was selected as an IPS officer of 1982 batch.
